Our red wine Señorio de Bocos "Roble", from the 2006 vintage, was awarded the Silver Medal at the International Wine Award "Mundus Vini".
The International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI is organized in Germany for wines from all wine regions in the world competition. The International Academy of Wine MUNDUS VINI born in 2001 with the aim of bringing the wine in all its facets both consumers and professionals, while providing appropriate guidance on quality.
Already in its first edition, this wine contest reached a figure of 2,235 wines participation of all relevant producing regions of the world. The record participation in 2005 shows just how important it has been gradually gaining this contest in Germany. This time more than 4,400 wines were presented. Currently, MUNDUS VINI is the largest officially recognized wine competition in the world.
The evaluation system of the tasting corresponds to the valuation model of the International Union of Winemakers (UIOE) and the OIV, developed especially for international tastings. It is a mathematical scheme that provides for the allocation of weighted scores for the criteria "aspect", "bouquet", "palate" and "harmony / general impression".
Note that the composition of the jury presents a ratio of 4: 3 tasters between international and German.
