Our white wine Señorio de Bocos 'Verdejo', from the 2020 vintage, has been distinguished with the Silver Medal in the «Zarcillo 2021 Awards», organized by the Instituto Tecnológico Agrario de la Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla y León.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of the Board of the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León has made public the results of the latest edition of the international wine competition "Premios Zarcillo 2021". The XVIII national and X international edition of this contest took place in Valladolid between last October 14 and 17.

The Zarcillo de Oro Contest is sponsored by the International Wine Office (O.I.V.) and the International Union of Oenologists (U.I.O.E), and is also part of the World Federation of Great International Wine and Spirits Contests (VinoFED).

The contest is open to all wines from the producing countries of the world. The concept of wine taken into account is the definition adopted by the OIV.

The largest International Wine Contest in Spain and Portugal has established itself as one of the TOP Contests worldwide after the success of its XV Edition, III in women, which has had the participation of more than 900 wines. Among the novelties 2019, the incorporation of Special Awards to the Denominations of Origin and Geographical Indications of both countries with the best wines of each category has been highlighted, with a new one for Vemouths. Awards Ceremony in Pinhel (Portugal).  

Behind these 3 three intense days of blind tastings the prestigious international jury has been able to assess the organoleptic characteristics of the 11 different wine categories of the VinDuero-VinDouro Awards.

In this new edition, the Tasting Committee 2019 has been composed of a cast of 50 tasters and tasters distributed equally at different tables to taste each and every one of the wines but make a summary of votes as subjective as possible when assessing The winning wines.

With the results in feminine (taking into account only the votes of the women members of the Tasting Committee) the Prizes in feminine have been awarded, for wines that obtain 90 or more points according to the Women.

With all the votes of all the tasters, without discrimination of gender, made through the customized tablets, the General Prizes have been assigned.

Our red wine Señorio de Bocos "Roble", of the 2016 vintage, has been distinguished with the Ruby Medal at the International Awards "WINE AND WOMAN" 2018, which were held on May 8 and 9 in Madrid (Spain).

Wines from all over the world have been judged and awarded by an all-female jury in the XI Edition of the OFFICIAL International OIV Calendar Contest.

The past 8th and 9th of May were celebrated in the Spanish School of Tasting of Madrid the tastings corresponding to the International Wine and Woman Awards 2018. This veteran and prestigious contest, which celebrates its XI Edition this year, is organized by Alamesa, account with the recognition of the International Vine and Wine Organization, and the sponsorship of Quely and Vaduva. The Contest has the peculiarity of being the first world wine competition in which the opinion of women is taken into account individually, also rewarding the best wines made by wineries with high female participation. Since its creation in 2007, many competitions have been born with female juries, but none so far values ​​the work of women who make wine.

The call of the contest was a success, improving comfortably the numbers of previous editions. More than two hundred different wines were registered covering all the categories of the Contest, coming from 15 different countries, among which are as diverse origins as Slovakia, Uruguay, Chile, New Zealand or the United States, and representing a total of 34 international wine regions. The national participation was also very remarkable, with 70% of participating wines from up to 37 Spanish Designations of Origin.

Our red wine Señorio de Bocos "Roble", of the 2014 vintage, it has won the SILVER BACCHUS award  in the contest held in Madrid from 18 to 21 March 2016.

Organized by the Spanish Tasters Union, the International Wine Competition Bacchus has consolidated its ten editions and quality as the most important event of those held in Spain.

Bacchus is the only international wine competition in Spain which currently belongs to VINOFED, the federation for the world’s most prestigious competitions. Our red wine Señorio de Bocos "Roble", from the vintage 2014, it has been rated 3 Stars in the 2015 Wine Tasting Competition, wines from Spain, organized by "Selection das Genussmagazin" held in Mainz (Germany) on July 11, 2015.

Our red wine "Autor de Bocos", from the vintage 2011, has been awarded the Silver Medal at the famous Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, held this year 2015 in Jesolo (Italy) between 1 and 3 May.

The Great World Wine Competition

Created in 1994, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles has emerged as the range of wine 'World Championships', with more than 8,000 samples of wines tasted in 2015 produced worldwide. Overall, these samples represent more than 600 million bottles sold.

Composed only of professionals, the jury of the Concours Mondial every year gathers the largest number of international wine experts and vineyard.

Our rosé wine Señorio de Bocos "Rosado", of the vintage 2014, won the Silver Bacchus award in the contest held in Madrid from 19 to March 23, 2015.

Organized by the Spanish Tasters Union, the International Wine Competition Bacchus has consolidated its thirteen editions as the most important contest of quality of those held in Spain.

Bacchus is the only international wine competition in Spain which now belongs to VINOFED, the federation that brings together the most renowned competitions worldwide. To this is added the fact must be recognized by the entity in the world of wine, the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV).
